Part-time Marketing Assistant (Voluntary roles available for high calibre candidates)

Chambers is currently seeking an extremely hard working and committed marketing assistant on a voluntary basis.

Ideal candidate

  • Must be smart in appearance and well presented
  • Keen interest in the marketing, legal and business development sectors is essential, coupled with a real desire to succeed
  • Flexible, ambitious and self-motivated, with a mindset to succeed in a dynamic, supportive and innovative environment
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Excellent IT skills
  • Excellent in the use of social and visual media
  • Excellent organisational and administrative skills
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality of information with discretion, diplomacy and professionalism
  • Must possess the ability to use sound judgment, manage changing priorities, meet strict deadlines and multi-task
  • Ability to interact effectively with members of Chambers and staff at all levels
  • Applicants must be flexible and work will generally be carried in the evenings during the week (i.e. after 6pm) and some weekends

Role will include

  • Excellent communication skills is a must, as the candidate will be required to attend functions, meetings and networking events with the Head of Chambers
  • Assisting the Head of Chambers with the implementation of Chambers’ marketing plan
  • Assisting the Head of Chambers with Chambers’ marketing activities at events, functions and seminars etc
  • Experience and knowledge of PowerPoint, Microsoft Word and Excel etc
  • Maintaining confidentiality
  • Experience of maintaining effective internal working relationships
  • Will include prioritising and organising work to achieve objectives and tasks on time
  • Working collaboratively in a team where required by the Head of Chambers
  • Assist with a range of administrative duties as directed by the Head of Chamber
  • Using initiative and/or creativity to resolve problems
